A: Although it was originally intended for Best Publications phonebook clients, anyone who wants a website is welcome.

Our publishing area includes: Houston, Pearland, Alvin-Manvel, Freindswood, Greater Cypress, Humblle, Kingwood Atascosita, Southbelt, Deer Park, La Porte, Pasadena and League City. We wil be exapanding to other Texas cities soon.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: We pride ourselves on our low and simple pricing. A three-page website, hosted on our server for one year is only $499.
This includes all artwork, scanning, logos, flash movies , copy, content and design and maintenance for less than $500!

If you need extra pages they are only $150.00 each.

Q: What do you mean by hosted on our server?

Q: What if I want my own domain or already have one?

A: We can post your site to your own domain or help you purchase and set one up for a modest fee.

Q: How much are changes to my site, like if I want to add photos, products or content?

A: For the first 30 days the site is online, changes and corrections are free. After that, it $5.00 per change.

Q: What all do you need to build my site?

A: The simple and no-fuss no-hassle way is for us to take the information, logos, photos and artwork from your Best Publications phonebook advertisement and use that to base your site on. Don't worry, it won't look like we just scanned in your advertisement (like other phonebook companies do) but will be an attractive and working REAL website.

Our website designers can take your ad and turn it into a website you'll be proud to tell everyone about, but we can also build a custom website,using your photos and content and anything else you can send us.

Q: What all can I post on my site?

A: Anything you think potential customers seeking your goods or services need to know, which can include a list of products,brand names, affiliations, product photos, food menus, contact information, operating hours etc. How about a map showing your location or a photo of the front of your business? We can even post slideshows and flash movies (commercials) on your site! It's up to you.

Q: What if there is a website design I like, can you make mine look like theirs?

A: We can use it to get an idea of what you want your website to look like, but we cannot copy a website exactly, nor would you want us to. Your website should be unique.


Q: What about my e-mail address, should I post it on my site?

A: We can, but if you don't want to get slammed with SPAM ( junk e-mail) we suggest you get (or let us set up for you) a G-Mail account. G-Mail (Google Mail) accounts are separate e-mail account you can check from anywhere. It also has excellent SPAM filters and other features you'll really like.

Q: Do you do E-commerce? Can I sell products on my site and take credit cards?

A: No, At this point we are offering Best Publications customers attractive simple, attractive and an efficient presence on the world wide web. E-commerce is complicated, requires secure servers, special scripting and custom design.

Q: What if I have video I want embedded on my site, such as a
TV commercial? Can you do that?

A: Yes. Just send us a videotape or DVD of your video and
we can convert it to a flash video that we can add to your
site.

The preferred format is VHS tape, but we can also transfer
video from VHS-C, Regular 8mm, Digital 8mm or DVD. If you
send us a video (and you want it back) make sure you
enclose a self addressed stamped envelope for return.

To embed video on your site we use YouTube the preferred
streaming video service, so your video will also benefit from
worldwide distribution, drawing even more potential
customers to your site.

advertisement and hosted on our server: $375.00

3 Page Site: $499.00
Includes: Welcome (portal) page

If you require additional pages, they cost $150.00 per page.
After your site is built and if you want us to continue to host
your site it will cost $150.00 per year. Any changes to your
site (for the first 30 days of any given year are free.

Additional
content added to your site after thirty days are $5.00 per.

We can also purchase for you, your own domain and host it
on our preferred server which would give you a unique web
address not directly tied to the sites@bpyp.com

One year’s hosting (and unique domain name registration)
fees are: Domain registration and management: ($40.00) per year.

One years hosting on bpyp’s preferred server: $75.00 per
year.

Note: if you already have your own server and domain, we
can also build your website and let you post it to your server.

A three page website not hosted on the Best Publication’s
server (under your own domain) would cost you:

Domain Registration: $40.00
Domain forwarding to server of your choice) $70.00
Website construction: $499.00
Your site burned to a CD for you to upload to your server:

Note: We cannot guarantee your website will look and
function as designed on other ISP (Internet Service
Provider’s) servers. We will try and address any technical
issues that may occur but glitches may be due to the server
or server software your ISP uses.
